We’re looking for technical support specialists to help businesses keep their Verasoft software running smoothly.

You’ll answer questions and troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues until each case is resolved.

What you’ll do

• Answer support requests by phone, email and remote session, and resolve issues quickly and courteously.
• Troubleshoot Verasoft software and the computers, printers, card readers, networks and databases it works with.
• Use remote access tools to diagnose and fix problems at customer locations.
• Document every case clearly in our ticketing system, and escalate complex issues to engineering with the details they need.
• Guide customers through setup, configuration and updates.
• Write and improve help articles based on the questions customers ask.
• Spot recurring issues and share them with our product and QA teams.

What you’ll bring

• At least 2 years of technical support or help desk experience, ideally with business software or point of sale.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi and routers) and peripherals.
• Basic SQL or database knowledge.
• Patience, empathy and a calm manner with busy customers.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• The habit of writing clear, organized case notes.

Nice to have

• Experience with point-of-sale hardware, payment terminals or receipt printers.
• Familiarity with macOS, iOS and Android.
• CompTIA A+, Network+ or a similar certification.
